Road Racing
The centerpiece of the planned park is a 2.5+ mile road course designed by Wilson Motorsports as a world-class venue for auto and motorcycle performance events. The 40-foot-wide track will meet the standards of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) as well other officiating bodies and racing series such as the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), Federation Internationale de L'Automobile (FIA), American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), and Formula USA (Clear Channel). Meeting the standards of these bodies will make RCMP eligible to host more than a dozen professional auto and motorcycle racing series, as well as numerous domestic and international club and performance driving events. A paved pit and paddock area, garages, control tower and many other amenities will support the road course. Although RCMP will have the capacity for professional motorsports racing events, its primary daily operations will initially be focused on member and car club use, and RCMP plans to market a full and associate membership plan. Educational programs covering a wide variety of training needs and driving situations will be available at the complex, with all teaching provided by experienced professional instructors. Membership will be required for priority access to RCMP's road course and other amenities.
